OUR CULTURE

Founded in Nairobi, Kenya, Shop and Deliver Limited t/a Betika (hereinafter referred to as Betika) commenced its betting operations in December 2016 in Nairobi, Kenya with a mission to create the best possible gaming experience in Africa by providing our customers a safe and secure environment for quality gaming entertainment. Betika is licensed and regulated by the Betting Control and Licensing Board and holds public gaming and bookmakers’ licenses.

At the time of commencement of its operations, Betika had three (3) employees, and the product offering at the time was betting via USSD. This was quickly followed in succession with pre-match betting.

Towards the end of 2016, the company focused its marketing efforts on digital platforms, which was a major game changer and differentiated the brand from other gaming operators. This propelled the brand’s growth, thus enabling Betika to increase its personnel in 2017.
